Rintu said development works are being expedited in every locality of the North Vidhan Sabha constituency. He said no area of his constituency will be deprived of development works. He further said that incomplete development works are being started in all the Municipal Corporation wards as well as all the panchayats of the North constituency.

Recently, Rintu also inaugurated beautification works that have been undertaken by individual efforts. He inaugurated an art installation, designed in the shape of a flame, at the Ranjit Avenue D-Block roundabout. The installation, designed by Sanha Khanna, an Amritsar-based interior designer, will be adopted and maintained by Davessar Immigration Services. Sanha Khanna said the flame structure in metal symbolises the fire to learn, evolve and light up the world with knowledge.
