Robbers loot gold from jewellery shop

The incident was captured on the CCTVs of the shop. The police reached the shop and took the Digital video recorder of the cameras into custody and started further probe to identify the suspects.
Show owner Kuldeep Singh said he runs a jewellery shop by name of Deepak Jewellers in the main bazaar of Ajnala. He said today two customers were sitting in the shop and he was polishing their jewellery when two masked persons entered the shop.
The gun-wielding youths threatened to shoot him and asked to hand over whatever he was having. He said his accomplice picked up gold jewellery from the cabinet box. The accused then took the keys and pushed them in the room of the shop. They then took out gold jewellery worth Rs 10.5 lakh, 6 kg silver worth Rs 5.79 lakh and Rs 50,000 cash from safe. A case has been registered.
