The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and the Dal Khalsa have jointly decided to hold a protest in Hoshiarpur and Tarn Taran districts on August 13 and 15, respectively, against the Centre Government’s political subjugation, injustices and excesses on the Sikhs.

Addressing a press conference, the Dal Khalsa has decided to hold a “Freedom March” in Hoshiarpur on August 13 on the occasion of its 46th foundation day, which will be dedicated to Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent Sikh Canadian leader, who was killed under mysterious circumstances in Canada last year and Dal Khalsa founder Gajinder Singh who passed away in Lahore last month.

SAD (A) leader Imaan Singh Mann and Dal Khalsa working president Paramjit Singh Mand said hundreds of activists of both parties will took to the streets in Tarn Taran.
