A meeting of the SAD workers was held at Guru Arjun Dev Sarai on Saturday. Alwinderpal Singh Pakhoke, district president of the Dal, urged workers to attend the party’s conference at Baba Bakala on August 19. Pakhoke, in his attack on the state government he said, they had not even carried out a single development work in the last two and a half months and people were fed up of them. He said the state government was depriving the weaker sections of the facilities that previous governments had given them. — OC
