Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Sarhali, celebrated Constitution Day on Wednesday.

Dr Jasbir Singh Gill, principal of the college, presided over the event. The units of the NSS, NCC, Red Ribbon Club and Eco Club made the day a success and the students were made aware about the Constitution.

The event was dedicated to the ideology of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, creator of the Constitution. NSS programme officer Balwinder Singh shared his thoughts with the students about Dr Ambedkar. He said one should work hard to eliminate racial discrimination from the country.

Dr Kanwalpreet Kaur, nodal officer of the Red Ribbon Club, inspired the students to read the Constitution so that they get aware of their rights.
