Baba Sukha Singh, head of the Kar Sewa sect, Sarhali, was on Saturday honoured by Tim Uppal, Member of Parliament from Edmonton-Millwoods (Canada), in Canada for his religious and social services.

Baba Sukha Singh is on his Gurmat Prachar tour in Canada from May 23. In his address, Tim Uppal appreciated Baba Sukha Singh’s selfless services like strengthening breaches occurred in the Beas and Sutlej river banks last year.

Tim expressed his pleasure over establishing Khalsa Academy at Edmonton City of Alberta State by the sect.
