A seminar on drug prevention was organised at the local Sri Guru Arjan Dev (SGAD) Government College on Friday under the guidance of principal in-charge Dr Gurinderjit Kaur. Faculty members and students attended the seminar. Kabirpal Singh, Rhythm Kohli and Nidhi Arora from Bhatia Neuropsychiatric Hospital and Hermitage Rehab were invited by the college to address the gathering.

Kabirpal Singh, in his address, emphasised the importance of meditation in staying away from drugs. He explained that people often fall prey to drug addiction due to bad company or other influences which ultimately ruins their lives. Rhythm Kohli and Nidhi Arora advocated physical exercise including walking to lead a healthy life, away from drugs.
