SGPC chief releases religious book written in Punjabi

Published by Dharam Prachar Committee, a wing of the SGPC, the book is dedicated to the 450th Guruship Day of Guru Ramdas and the 450th Jyoti Jyot Diwas of the third Guru, Sri Guru Amardas.
While releasing the book, Dhami recalled that last year, on the occasion of the 450th centenary of the Guruship Day of the Fourth Guru and the 450th centenary of the Jyoti Jyoti Diwas of the Third Guru, the Dharam Prachar Committee had planned many programmes to make people aware of the welfare messages of Guru sahib.
He said the book released today includes the biographies of those Sikhs who were close to Guru sahib and adored him. He appreciated the efforts of Dr Rajwinder Singh and expressed the hope that the Sangat would benefit from this book.
On the occasion, SGPC chief secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan, member Amarjit Singh Chawla, Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Darshan Singh Mothanwala, Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, secretary Partap Singh, Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, additional secretary Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, personal secretary Shahbaz Singh, general manager of Darbar Sahib Bhagwant Singh Dhangera and deputy secretary Harbhajan Singh were present.
