Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has established its first overseas coordination centre in Birmingham, England, to cater to the needs and demands of Sikh Sangat abroad. The centre’s establishment is the result of efforts by SGPC member Gurinder Singh Bawa and Harjinder Kaur, a member of the executive committee, with support from the Birmingham-based Khalsa Panth Academy.

The centre aims to facilitate connections between the community in the UK and Europe with Takht Sahibs and leading panthic institutions. It will also assist Sikh pilgrims visiting Punjab by providing accommodation, travel, and other necessary arrangements. Dhami entrusted Gurinder Singh Bawa, who is also a member of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib and Takht Sri Patna Sahib Board, with the centre’s coordination, praising his dedication to this initiative.

SGPC received support from various gurdwaras and organisations across the UK and Europe, including Manchester, London, Leicester, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy, Austria, and others.
