MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met and encouraged Amritsar-based shooter Danishdeep Singh, who recently won a bronze medal at the Punjab State Shooting Championship held in Patiala.

Danishdeep Singh earned the bronze medal for his outstanding performance at the state-level championship. Recognising his achievement, MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla congratulated him, felicitated him and wished him a bright and successful future.

Aujla remarked that the youth of Amritsar are excelling in sports, which is a matter of pride for both the city and the entire state of Punjab. He encouraged Danishdeep, stating that with dedication, discipline, and consistent hard work, he has the potential to make the country proud at both national and international levels.

Danishdeep, who was awarded the bronze medal for being one of the top shooters in the competition, credited his success to his parents, coach, and school. He also expressed gratitude for MP Aujla’s encouragement, calling it a source of great inspiration.

Aujla further emphasised that the government and society should actively support such talented athletes so they can continue to bring honor to Punjab and India in the world of sports.
