Shri Ram Ashram school celebrates silver jubilee with inspiring lecture

The distinguished guest speaker was Dr Deepak Vohra, a former diplomat who served as India's Ambassador to Armenia, Poland and Sudan, and as Technology Advisor to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a warm welcome extended to the chief guest by the president of the School, Balbir Bajaj, along with vice-president ML Aeri and members of the management: Rampal Chatrath, Dinesh Khanna, Dr Karunesh Gupta, Sanjeev Khanna, Dr Vinodita Sankhyan (Principal of the host school), Neetu Sharma (Principal of Shri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School) and Sanjay Mahajan (CAO).
The event featured a school documentary showcasing the institution's milestones and achievements over the past hundred years, followed by a vibrant Giddha performance by the young Ashramites.
The highlight of the programme was Dr Vohra's address on "Vision 2035: Role of Parents and Youth", an inspiring and thought-provoking lecture. He emphasised that India, the world's youngest nation, has become self-reliant and emerged as the third-largest economy globally. He also engaged warmly with the audience, answering their questions with insight and encouragement.
The chief guest was honoured with a souvenir and a traditional 'phulkari' by Balbir Bajaj and the school management. Principal Dr Vinodita Sankhyan expressed her deep gratitude to the guest speaker, the management and the dignitaries. She said, "As we celebrate the school's Silver Jubilee this year, it is an honour and a privilege to welcome Dr Deepak Vohra. His insightful words have enlightened our young minds. This event beautifully blended learning, culture and inspiration, reflecting our institution's commitment to nurturing values among students, in line with the ideals of Acharya Sundar Singh, the founder of Shri Ram Educational Society."
The gala event concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and enlightening celebration.
