A ground has been cleared in this village to connect children with sports, where they can play and spend their time indulging in traditional sports,” he said. Dr Gupta added that to increase the interest of children in sports, 100 sports kits have been made available by Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney and more will be done in future.

The MLA said that if any other demand is made by the village Sarpanch and Panches to involve children aware of sports, it will be done. He stressed that the government is working on a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and and is committed to the welfare of the common people.
