A food safety team of the Health Department and the Milkmen Union collaborated to crack down on milk adulteration in the city. Following directives from the State Commissioner for Food and Drug Administration, they stopped vehicles which were entering the city with milk products for three consecutive days and collected 13 samples of milk and milk products from prominent dairies. The material included eight samples of milk collected from Darshan Dairy, Arora Dairy, GRD Dairy, Mithu Dairy, Ram Dairy, Chan Dairy and Guru Nanak Dairy, four samples of paneer and one of ghee. — TNS
