Students from Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Chabal, excelled at the 8th Tarn Taran Taekwondo Championship, bringing home a remarkable array of medals. The principal, Anureet Bawa, congratulated the winners, noting their outstanding performances across different age categories.

In the U-12 category, Nakshdeep Singh and Ranveer Singh won gold medals, while Samardeep Singh and Mankirat Singh secured silver. Rajveer Singh earned a bronze medal.

In the U-14 category, Ekamjit Singh claimed the gold medal, and Surtaj Singh, Varundeep Singh and Sanampreet Singh won silver. Abhijot Singh and Anurag Sharma earned bronze medals.

In the U-17 category, Gurnishan Singh and Ekamdeep Singh took home silver medals, while Sahibdeep Singh, Damanpreet Singh, Abhinur Singh, Arshdeep Singh and Sehajpreet Singh won bronze.

The U-19 category saw Rajanpreet Singh winning gold and Gurnoor Singh securing silver.

Overall, the school claimed first place in the sub-junior U-12, Cadet Under-14 and Senior Under-19 categories, adding to their prestige.

A ceremony was held at the school, where winners were honoured by Member-in-Charge Manjit Singh Dhillon, Adarshpinder Singh Mann and Ajitpal Singh.
