The district administration held a special Suvidha Camp in Dialpur village on Friday under the ‘Sarkar Tuhade Duar’ (Government at your doorstep) programme of the state government. Under instructions from Punjab government, welfare facilities are to be provided to the needy people in rural areas at their doorsteps and grievances resolved by holding camps under the scheme.

At the Dialpura village camp, complaints of the people were redressed on the spot and due facilities provided to the needy persons. Of the 201 applications, 200 were taken up on the spot. Officials of different department took up the cases of 200 applicants submitted by beneficiaries for the facilities provided under different welfare schemes. The people were also given saplings under the green drive in state. The district administration is holding such camps every Tuesday and Thursday in each sub-division in the district to provide facilities at doorsteps to the people.
