Sikh sangat recited gurmantar and moolmantar for 10 minutes in all gurdwaras today morning to pay respect to martyrs, including Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh, elder sons Guru Gobind Singh.

A gurmat samagam was held at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall inside the Golden Temple. After ‘ardas’, hazuri raagi jathas of the Golden Temple performed kirtan. Later, dhadi jathas paid respect by sharing the history of the martyrs with the ‘sangat’.

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh termed sacrifice of Sahibzadas as an exemplary courage in the history of Sikh community.

Paying tributes to Sahibzadas, SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami urged sangat to take inspiration from them.
