Sri Guru Arjun Dev (SGAD) Government College, Tarn Taran, organised ‘First Respondent’ programme, in association with Zen Plus, to raise awareness about first-aid.

Students and faculty members of the college participated in the programme, in which experts apprised them about CPR, heart attack prevention and responding to bleeding, fracture, snake bite, fainting, choking and hypoglycaemia.

Principal Dr Surinder Kaur said the students must know how to handle a patient in case of emergency, especially when no professional help is available.

Jaswinder Singh, FRP trainer of Zen Plus, said in case of emergency, one must not panic.

Vice-Principal Dr Gurinderjit, Sangeeta Agnihotri, Dr Jagmeet, Guramandeep Singh, Ritu, Sandeep Kaur, Jasjit Singh and others addressed the participants on the occasion.
