Tarn Taran: Women members of teaching and non-teaching staff of local Majha College for Women celebrated ‘Tian Da Tiuhar’ in the college complex with traditional Punjabi culture on Saturday. Women members of the College management Committee office- bearers’ families too participated in the celebrations. Dr Hardeep Kaur, Principal of the College said that while presenting Gidha the participants made the atmosphere more attractive by citing ‘ Punjabi Bolian and Tappe (recreational lines). The merry-go-rounds (Pinghan) too were enjoyed by the participants. Kheer, purre and pakoras for refreshment were also there. oc
