Tejbir Singh Rana, a local bodybuilder, has brought pride to Amritsar by securing a silver medal at the 33rd National Bench Press Classic Championship held in Goa recently. This impressive feat adds to Tejbir’s already illustrious career, marked by numerous national and international wrestling championships and a national gold in sports.

A world champion in strength-building, Tejbir competed in the 120-kg weight Master One category. Earlier, he had won a gold medal at the state-level championship in Patiala in September.

“I’m thrilled to have clinched the silver medal at the national championship,” Tejbir shared. “My focus now shifts to the World Bench Press Classic Championship in Norway next month. I’m working tirelessly to ensure a stellar performance.”
