Two cousins who were abducted from near the local bus stand on Monday were found in a seriously injured condition by their family at Goindwal Sahib in the evening. ASI Kulbir Singh of the local city police which investigated the case informed here today that the injured, who were abducted from here, have been identified as Manjinder Singh and his cousin Heera Singh of Jodhe village in Baba Bakala sub-division. The accused were standing near the bus stand when some persons appeared on the spot in three vehicles and forcefully abducted them.

One of the persons in the vehicles has been identified as Shamsher Singh, a resident of Naurangabad. The families of persons who were abducted found them from Goindwal Sahib after a few hours. The injured have been admitted to the local Civil Hospital. ASI Kulbir Singh said that a case under section 140 (3), 351, 351 (2), 115 (2), 324, 191 and 190 of BNS has been registered against the accused.
