Two arrested for firing, hurling bricks at each other

The city police have arrested two persons on the charge of attempt to murder and recovered a .32 bore revolver, two rounds of ammunition and three empty shells from their possession.

The arrested accused were identified as Mandeep Singh, alias Monu, and Rohit, alias Ganja, both resients of Mustafabad.

Maninderpal Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, said the Sadar police received information that the duo was firing and throwing bricks and stones at each other over an old enmity with an intention to kill. A police team rushed to the spot and arrested the duo. The police also seized Monu’s licensed revolver used in the crime.
