To mark International Yoga Day, a two-day yoga camp was organised at the under-construction Water Treatment Plant in Valla, Amritsar. The initiative was jointly undertaken by the Amritsar Municipal Corporation and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to promote physical and mental well-being among officials, engineers and workers engaged in the project.

The sessions were conducted by yoga trainer Nitin Madan, who not only guided the participants through various yoga postures but also explained the importance and techniques of practicing yoga in daily life. Emphasising the benefits of incorporating yoga into one’s routine, he said that even in today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, yoga can help individuals maintain both physical fitness and mental peace.

The event witnessed active participation from several dignitaries and project officials, including Giriraj Singh Handa, Monika Sabbarwal, Parani Kumar, Shabari Bhowmik and Rohit Mishra. The camp aimed to encourage a culture of health and wellness at the workplace, especially in labor-intensive infrastructure projects.
