The city police have arrested two snatchers for allegedly robbing a man of his mobile and Rs 5,000 in cash. The victim was identified as Karandeep Singh of Bhagtupura in Rishi Vihar area.

Those arrested were identified as Rohit of Karampura locality of Fatehgarh Churian road and Vishal of Gumtala Colony. The police have recovered the snatched mobile from their possession.

Karandeep Singh stated to the police that on Monday night, he was returning home from the Khanna Paper Mill side when the three bike-borne persons intercepted and robbed him.

During probe, the police identified and arrested the suspects within 24 hours of the incident.
