Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, a member (NISD) and special invitee (NCCDR) in the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, met Cabinet Minister Dr Virendra Kumar in Delhi and invited him to grace the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan programme in Amritsar to be held on September 13.

The event will witness the participation of thousands of youth and students, united in the mission to create a drug-free Punjab. The meeting between Bindra and the Union minister focused on strengthening the fight against drug abuse and inspiring community involvement across the state. This will be a national level function. Bindra said the presence of minister will be a great source of motivation for the people of Amritsar and will further boost the nationwide campaign for a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
