The alert BSF jawans shot down yet another unmanned aerial vehicle near the Mulankot border outpost falling in Gharinda, Amritsar, on Friday morning. The area from where the drone was recovered was later cordoned off and a search operation was carried out. But nothing was found.

This is the third drone shot down by the Border Security Force troopes in Amritsar and Tarn Taran’s border belt. Due to dense fog that enveloped the entire northern region lowering the visibility, especially in the border villages, cross-border smugglers had speeded up their activities to push in drugs and arms consignments.

The BSF authorities said the troops heard a buzzing sound around 7.45 am that was coming from Pakistan.
