The annual sports meet of the local ‘Wisdom School of Academics and Sports’ was organised here on Sunday in which former Indian cricket coach Yograj Singh and Itu Sodhi, Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, District Courts in Tarn Taran, were the chief guest. Yograj Singh mingled with parents and even joined the students in a joyful dance, making the event even more memorable with his energy and enthusiasm.

One of the most exciting and eagerly awaited moments of the Sports Day was the staff race and the parents’ race, which brought an extra spark of joy and camaraderie to the event. These moments reflected the words: “Sports bring families and communities closer, one race at a time.” Yograj Singh addressed the gathering with his inspiring words and inaugurated the cricket academy at the senior wing of the school on Tharu Road. Gurprit Johal, principal of the academy, shared its progress with the audience.
