The Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta today filed a complaint at the Parliament Street Police Station after he received a threat message on tweeter from a Sonia Vihar resident in northeast Delhi.

He was accompanied by general secretary of state unit of the party Rajesh Bhatia, spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor and Yuva Morcha president Sunil Yadav.

Gupta has said ever since the Arvind Kejriwal government came to power it has been trying to physically silence his voice be it in assembly through assault by MLAs or marshals and more recently on January 30 at Chief Minister's residence by four MLAs.

Gupta said in view of the surcharged political atmosphere prevailing in Delhi for the past four days it is not possible that a political activist will issue such an open threat to the Leader of the Opposition without the consent of ruling party leaders.
