Top position holders
LUDHIANA: Students of MFDM (Master in Fashion Designing and Management), semester-III of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, brought laurels to the college by showing excellent performance in examinations conducted December by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Dimpy and Sakshi Sapra bagged I position in university by securing 82.5per cent. Maganpreet Kaur bagged II position by securing 76.2 per cent. Veerjot Kaur bagged III position by securing 76 per cent. College President S Swaran Singh Ji, Secretary S Kanwalinder Singh and Principal Kirandeep Kaur congratulated the students. The toppers said they oew their success to teachers and parents who guided them in their every obstacle.
Guru Nanak Girls College
Students of MSc (Biotechnology), semester-III, Guru Nanak Girls College, Ludhiana, have proved their excellence in the Panjab University December, 2016 Examinations. Neha Gupta stood III in Panjab University and I in the college by securing 86.5 per cent marks. Divya Rani stood VI and II in the college by securing 85.4 per cent marks and Kanchan Rana stood IX in the university and III in the college by securing 83.8 per cent marks respectively. The college principal, Charanjit Mahal, congratulated faculty and students for making college proud and said. Under the SGPC management, Sri Amritsar, holds 100 per cent result of students of BSc Fashion Designing of III semester , Panjab University Examination, December 2016. Students secured I ,II , V and VI positions in the PU merit list. Baljeet Kaur with 92.96 per cent marks bagged I position in University, Taranpreet Kaur Secured 91.68 per cent got II in University, Kritika Sharma secured 90.72 per cent and stood III while Paramjit Kaur got 90.24% and stood VI in the university merit list. In MA III semester, Political Science, Satveer Kaur secured 86 per cent marks with I position, Sandeep Kaur was II by securing 82.5 per cent, Arminder Kaur stood III by scoring 82 per cent and Arushdeep Kaur was IV by scoring 80.25 per cent. AS College for women
The result of MA Sociology, semester-I was declared in which Harpreet Kaur of AS stood first in college by scoring 71 per cent marks, Ravneet Kaur second by securing 69.50 per cent marks and Kirandeep Kaur was third with 69 per cent marks in MA. The aggregate pass percentage of the college result of MA Sociology semester was 100 per cent third with 69 per cent marks in MA. OC
