Deepika Padukone, who has been shooting for Piku in Kolkatta along with Amitabh Bachchan, recently bought tant sarees for her and her mother. Tant saree is a traditional Indian saree and usually worn by Bengali women. It is traditionally made by the weavers from all over West Bengal.

Deepika has been loving the pace of the city and the kind of life. She spent Rs12,000 on purchase of tant sarees. It is a complete different experience for her because she is shooting in the city for the first time.
