A blood donation camp was organised by the department of pharmaceutical sciences and technology of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), Civil Hospital, United Welfare Society and HDFC Bank to commemorate the 239th birth anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the 58th National Pharmacy Week.

Registrar of the MRSPTU Prof Ashish Baldi and Dean (research) Prof Jasbir Singh Hundal inaugurated the camp and motivated students to donate blood.

A total of 70 units of blood were donated by students and staff members during the camp. Vice-chancellor of the university Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar applauded the efforts of the department in successfully organising the blood donation camp.
