The Punjab Petroleum Dealers Association has announced petrol pumps’ closure from 8 am to 6 pm on December 8 in support of the Bharat Bandh call.

Haryana: All fuel stations to be shut tomorrow

Punjab Petroleum Dealers Association vice-president Vinod Bansal said, “We are closing petrol pumps in support of farmers in the state. Fuel will only be given to ambulance or emergency vehicles.” — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
