Immigration agent’s house raided by NIA in Bathinda

An NIA team raided the house of immigration agent Gurpreet Singh Jaura, alias Sunny, in Bathinda city on Wednesday. Sources said he was questioned in connection with some calls received on his phone from some foreign numbers. The NIA team reached his house at Pratap Nagar around 8 am. It searched the house and questioned his family members. Sources said the NIA suspected that Sunny had connection with gangster Happy Pashia, who is accused of carrying out grenade attacks on police stations in Punjab.
