The Bathinda administration today organised a kite flying competition to create anti-drug awareness among youth at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium.

Cabinet minister Baljit Kaur, who attended the event, said the main objective of the government was to keep working hard until the ultimate goal of “Rangla Punjab” was achieved. Besides bringing out the youth from the evil mire of drugs, she said, it was also a virtue to connect them with sports as well as Punjab’s history and soulful music.

ADGP (Bathinda Range) SPS Parmar said: “It is our personal duty to make children more aware of the ill effects of drugs.”
