Rajinder Papneja, an active member of the Bharat Vikas Parishad, said he felt it was his moral duty to contribute when people were reeling under the crises of floods and scarcity of essentials.

“It is our duty to support people in distress. Those who want to donate water bottles to the flood-affected can buy them at just Rs 99 for a pack of 12 bottles of one litre each, in any quantity,” he said.

Papneja added that some philanthropists and social workers from Muktsar and Bathinda districts had already purchased these bottles and sent them for distribution among the affected families.
