A fire tender reached the site which doused the fire.

Later, Singh’s burnt body was retrieved from the room. It is stated that no other member, including his two sons, was present at the time of the fire.

The deceased’s son, Karan, said that his father used to consume bidis, which could be the cause of the fire breaking out inside the room.
