The district police on Thursday booked an owner and manager of Aadhar super market for allegedly fleecing customers amid the curfew restrictions.

SSP Narinder Bhargav said, “Complainant Balkaran Singh Balli, an advocate, said he purchased some items from Aadhar super market on April 8 at a price which was way higher than the MRP mentioned on the article. Acting on his complaint, we initiated action against the owner and manager of the store.”

The SSP said: “A case under Section 420 (cheating) of the IPC has been registered against the owner and manager of Aadhar super market. ”
