A stray dog today bit Deputy Commissioner MK Aravind Kumar’s wife Mythraye VP outside their residence here.

Sources said Mythraye, president of the District Red Cross Society, was taking a walk in the waterworks complex when one of the stray dogs present there bit her on the leg. She was taken to a private hospital on the Bathinda road here and given anti-rabies medication. Earlier a few days ago, a couple of monkeys had bitten some locals in Malout town. — TNS
