GAURAV TIWARI was India’s top paranormal expert. For reasons unknown, he decided to end his life at the age of 32. But the legacy he built has ensured that scientific paranormal research continues. It is the story of this short journey that horror writer Abhirup Dhar chronicles in his book, ‘Ghost Hunter: Gaurav Tiwari’, authored along with the Indian Paranormal Society, which was founded by Tiwari in 2009. Knowledge cancels fear, Tiwari would say, and his research and search were driven by this motto. The book captures both the life of Gaurav Tiwari as well as his encounters with ‘the other’.
