Ivan Sinha Teams Up With Robin Hood Army to Vaccinate Villagers in Uttar Pradesh
September 6th 2021. Uttar Pradesh. For a 2 days vaccination campaign, Ivan Sinha collaborated with Robin Hood Army on September 5 to carry out a vaccination drive for villagers between the ages of 18-44 in Lakhma Pur village located in Mirzapur city of Utter Pradesh. With the assistance of government medical officials in this special drive, more than 300 villagers got vaccinated and received free N95 masks, hand sanitizers and meal packets donated by himself.
He and the team of Robin Hood Army travelled door-to-door to appeal villagers to come out and get the jabs. While sharing his experience in the vaccination drive, VP & MD of Fynzon Company, Ivan Sinha said, “Our team ensured to inform the villagers of side-effects like fever and we handed them paracetamol for the same. N95 masks and cooked meal packs were also provided to villagers after inoculation to reduce their workload. “
Adding further, “Vaccine fear is still pervasive in India. People in rural areas, in particular, are reluctant to get vaccinated. People in some parts of India still believe COVID-19 is a fiction and that the deadly virus does not exist in villages.” He said.
Vaccine hesitancy is at an all-time high in India. People are hostile to health care personnel. They frequently succeed in persuading individuals in communities to be vaccinated. His campaigns have always helped to increase the number of people who are vaccinated.
