New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India on Wednesday said it has received a show-cause notice from customs authority demanding payment of differential duty of over Rs 3.8 crore. Authorities asked it to provide the reasons for claiming custom duty exemption, it said. PTI

Tata buys 116 cr equity shares in Singapore unit

New Delhi: Tata Steel has acquired about 116 crore equity shares in its Singapore-based arm for $182 million. “Tata Steel acquired 1,15,92,35,669 ordinary equity shares in T Steel Holdings Pte Ltd (TSHP),” the firm said. PTI
