SBI on Wednesday said it has crossed the Rs 5 lakh crore-mark in its home loan business. The real estate and housing business unit of the bank has grown five times in the last 10 years with an asset under management (AUM) of Rs 89,000 crore in 2011 to Rs 5 lakh crore in 2021. PTI

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday said it will recruit 1,500 technology employees across the UK over the next year. The announcement followed Monday’s meeting in Mumbai between visiting UK Trade Secretary Liz Truss and TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan. PTI

Exports rise 10.3% during February 1-8: Official data

Continuing with the positive growth, the country’s exports grew by 10.3% to $683 million during the first week of February on account of strong performance by key sectors such as engineering and chemicals, an official said on Wednesday. Imports too increased by a marginal 0.7% to $72.5 million during the week, the official added. PTI

SpiceJet posts net loss of Rs 57 cr in December quarter

SpiceJet on Wednesday reported a standalone loss of Rs 56.95 crore for the three months to December against a profit of Rs 73.22 crore in the year-ago period. Total income declined by 51.36% to Rs 1,907 crore during the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,921 crore clocked in Q3 FY20, according to a regulatory filing. PTI
