Ruchi Soya acquires Patanjali’s biscuits business

Ruchi Soya Industries on Tuesday announced the acquisition of biscuits business from Patanjali Natural Biscuits Pvt Ltd (PNBPL) in a slump sale at Rs 60.02 crore. The company said its Board had approved the signing of a business transfer agreement in this regard with the PNBPL. PTI

Nomura cuts India’s FY22 growth estimate to 10.8%

Japanese brokerage Nomura on Tuesday cut its GDP growth estimate for the current 2021-22 fiscal to 10.8% from the earlier 12.6%, blaming the impact of the second wave-induced lockdowns. It said the activity levels have dropped further to 64.5% of the pre-pandemic levels in the week to May 9 as per a proprietary index. PTI

Groww to buy Indiabulls Mutual Fund for Rs 175 cr

Online investment platform Groww on Tuesday said it will acquire Indiabulls Mutual Fund for Rs 175 crore. The digital platform will acquire Indiabulls Asset Management Company and the trustee company for Rs 175 crore, which includes a cash and equivalent component of Rs 100 crore, an official statement said. JSW Hydro Energy raises $707 m via green bonds

JSW Energy on Tuesday said its subsidiary JSW Hydro Energy has raised $707 million through green bonds abroad. According to statement, JSW Hydro Energy has priced the fixed rate senior secured green 144A/Reg S Bond for a 10-year tenor at 4.125%. PTI
