Jubilant Foodworks Q2 net jumps 58% to Rs120 crore

Jubilant Foodworks Ltd on Wednesday reported 58.11% jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 119.82 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, driven by continued strong momentum in delivery and takeaway channels. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,116.19 crore as compared to Rs 816.33 crore in the same period a year ago. PTI

NPCI unveils tokenisation of RuPay cards for safety

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on Wednesday announced the tokenisation system for RuPay cards to enhance the safety of card data. The NPCI Tokenisation System (NTS) is to support tokenisation of cards as an alternative to storing card details with merchants, NCPI said. PTI
