India and the US were engaged in high-level trade discussions at various levels, covering both trade and non-trade issues, a senior official said in New Delhi. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, currently in the US for trade talks, reportedly, emphasised India’s intent to bolster energy imports from the US as part of the trade discussions.
