• This is Flipkart’s first grocery fulfillment center (FC) in Tripura and will provide delivery slots as per consumers’ choice • The facility will supplement and strengthen the company’s existing supply chain delivery infrastructure in the Northeast, reducing delivery timelines across other states, including Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Nagaland • Spread over 35,000 square feet and equipped with a daily dispatch capacity of 5,000 orders per day, the FC will generate more than 200 direct and indirect job opportunities • Leveraging local consumer insights, this FC will have a variety of locally popular brands to address the diverse palates of consumers Agartala - Tripura, Aug 20, 2025: Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, has launched its first grocery fulfillment center (FC) in Agartala, Tripura, reinforcing its commitment to provide fast and reliable grocery deliveries in the Northeast. Flipkart’s first grocery FC in the state will support rising consumer demand for online groceries by enhancing serviceability and offering delivery slots as per the consumer’s choice across Agartala and nearby areas. Built on deep consumer insights, the facility will offer a curated selection of over 4,000 products across staples such as aata, rice, and pulses in addition to snacks, beverages, personal care, and household essentials. The assortment will include several locally popular brands to cater to the diverse preferences of consumers across Tripura.

Tripura is emerging as a key market for digital retail in the Northeast, with growing demand for e-grocery services. With its evolving consumer landscape and expanding digital footprint, the state presents a significant growth opportunity for Flipkart. By investing in Tripura’s e-commerce infrastructure, Flipkart aims to bridge the digital divide, serve value-conscious customers beyond metros, and support inclusive regional development. Spread over 35,000 square feet; the new facility has a dispatch capacity of over 5,000 orders per day across Tripura as well as Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Nagaland.
