The Finance Ministry has arranged an interactive three-way meeting between users of the new e-filing income tax portal, government officials and Infosys, the vendor of the portal, to discuss the glitches that have afflicted it since its launch on June 7.

The Finance Ministry has asked stakeholders to send in writing the difficulties they have faced in the portal and representatives from Infosys are expected to reply to them.

The meeting on June 22 will be interactive with other stakeholders including chartered accountants, auditors, consultants and taxpayers to be part of the interaction, according to an official statement. — TNS
