Exporters resume shipping through Red Sea route
New Delhi: Indian export consignments have gradually started moving through the Red Sea route again, exporters body FIEO said on Tuesday. This signals a cautious recovery in shipments after months of disruptions on the route caused by regional tensions.
Due to recent Houthi attacks, the shippers were taking consignments through the Cape of Good Hope, encircling the African continent, resulting in delays of almost 14-20 days and higher freight costs.
Punjab Guv unveils world’s first AI real estate app
Chandigarh: Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria unveiled MrProptek —the world’s first AI-enabled property booking app —developed by 23-year-old tricity tech prodigy Aagman Bhatia. Applauding the innovation, the Governor said, “It is a matter of pride for Chandigarh and Punjab that this world-first app is developed by a young entrepreneur. It aligns with PM Modi’s vision of Digital India and a developed nation by 2047.”
Instamart rebrands, drops ‘Swiggy’ for standalone identity
New Delhi: Quick commerce platform Instamart has dropped parent Swiggy from its name, in a strategic move aimed at carving a standalone brand identity.
The move comes days after rival Zomato, which also owns Blinkit, rebranded as Eternal on the stock exchanges, with quick commerce becoming a significant driver for the firms beyond their delivery businesses. CEO Sriharsha Majety said the company expects Instamart to surpass food delivery in terms of scale.
