Adani drops 20% stake in Wilmar JV

New Delhi: Adani Group has sold a 20 per cent stake in AWL Agri Business Ltd to Wilmar International, Singapore, for Rs 7,150 crore, as part of its decision to exit the FMCG business and focus on the infrastructure vertical.

Axis Bank Q1 profit slips 3% to Rs 6K cr

Mumbai: Axis Bank reported a 3 per cent dip in its June quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 6,243.72 crore, impacted by the implementation of changes in non-performing assets policy.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
