Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday called on Indian industries to seize the moment and invest boldly in expanding their capacities, emphasising the government's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for growth.

Speaking at an industry conclave in New Delhi, Sitharaman highlighted the resilience of the Indian economy and urged businesses to capitalise on emerging opportunities to drive economic progress.

The finance minister underscored the importance of private sector investment in sustaining India's growth trajectory. “This is the time for industry to step up, invest, and expand capacities without hesitation,” Sitharaman said, pointing to the government's recent reforms aimed at easing business operations and boosting manufacturing.
