The government has extended the last date for filing of Income Tax Forms 15CA/15CB to July 15 in view of the difficulties reported by taxpayers in electronic filing on the updated Income Tax portal.

A facility will be provided on the new e-filing portal to upload these forms at a later date for the purpose of generation of the Document Identification Number, stated an official news release.

Authorised dealers have been asked to accept these forms till July 15 for foreign remittances.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
